Hey there! I'm Izzy Whitney, and I have an awesome story to share with you. When I returned to school in 2021 after the COVID shutdown, I noticed that some of my classmates weren't feeling very confident about being back in the classroom.

 

Although online learning was a breeze for me, I realized that not everyone had it as easy. That's when I thought, "I should share my study tips with others!"

Listening to the news one night with my family, I heard about how kids were stressed about school, and standardized test scores were significantly lower because of COVID. It made me sad to think that many kids missed out on months of learning and were struggling to catch up.

 

That's when I came up with the idea for my first book, "When in Doubt...Don't Freak Out! A Middle Schooler's Guide to Building Successful Study Habits." It took a lot of work, but after 10 weeks, my book was published! Can you believe it became a best-seller on Amazon and is now being published in 6 other countries? Wow!
 

Through this experience, I learned that if you take a big project and break it down into smaller pieces, you can achieve anything. I've always dreamed of becoming an author and journalist, and now I know I can!

 

Since the success of my first book, I've been exploring the world of confidence building in my newest book: "Confidence is Key: How Tween Girls Can Slay the Day & Build Unshakeable Confidence."
